Brooklyn Bowl and Birthday Beers

The weekend passed in a bit of a drunken blur.. from Brooklyn Bowl on Friday night where there was live music, fried everything, beers and bowling (albeit, not til 130am when we finally got a lane) to beer/vodka pong at birthday girl Mel's place in Murray Hill on Saturday night.

In between, there was brunch at Westville and a diner in the Meatpacking, cheap mani and pedis and a sunny stroll through Union Square Markets. So I'll let most of the photos below do the talking. Note that 'The Aussie' came in late to dominate the game. Seems the more beers and lemon drops I had, the better I bowled.

Having not played pong before, I took to the game a little too enthusiastically (gotta love the commitment!) and spent most of my punishing Sunday in bed vowing not to do that again as I only have 5 weekends to make the most of my time here!! I also managed to miss most of the sun that came out with the weather in the high 60s (read: 18-20degrees) - so nice to actually walk around and feel hot wearing a t-shirt!
